How to delete your account

1. Open the HomeDex app and sign in.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm on the two warning screens, then type DELETE to finish.

Your account is deleted immediately — there’s no waiting period and no need to email anyone.

What gets deleted

• Your account, login, and profile information (name, email).
• Every house, car, room, and item you created, including photos and notes.
• Your maintenance reminders and subscription tier record.
• Access you granted to other users on your shared properties.

What isn’t deleted

• Properties other people own that you were invited to collaborate on — deleting your account only removes your own access to them, not their data.
• Purchase records Google Play itself keeps for your Google account, independent of HomeDex.

Delete only your data, keep your account

If you’d rather keep your account but remove your properties, rooms, and items, use Settings → Clear All Data instead — this wipes your content immediately but leaves your login intact so you can start fresh.
